ASCP will host its Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp via livestream from March 18-19, 2020. Bring a video stream of the Boot Camp stage and slides LIVE to your home or office! Learn more below. Based on the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Content Outline , this workshop helps participants either prepare for the 2020 exam or to refresh their knowledge of geriatric principles by working through practice skills and clinical case topics with other pharmacists and subject matter experts. Please note that per BPS, you may only apply BCGP recertification credit to 2 bootcamps within your 7-year recertification cycle, and they must be separated by at least 1 year. At this time, the ASCP Geriatric Bootcamp may provide recertification credits for BCGP only. Board certification demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise beyond a licensed pharmacist. Certification credentials may be useful in qualifying for a promotion with a current employer or in obtaining a job with a new employer. Agenda Sessions will start on Saturday, September 23 at 8:00am and end on Sunday, September 24 at 5:00pm. There will be at least 17 CPE and BCGP recertification credits. Registration opens at 7:00am.
